Here's a great new video from Gunblast.com on three new models introduced by Ruger, to be announced at this weekend's NRA show in Charlotte. The rifle is a new AR-15 variant, but I'm more interested in the stripped down, lighter LCR .38 Special and a slightly heavier LCR chambered for .357 Magnum.

Shooting regular .38 Special rounds through my LCR is a bit punishing on my hand, so I can't imagine putting .357 Magnum through it. To handle the load there's more steel in this new model than in the standard LCR, making it somewhat heavier.
